Our Founder and Intellectual Inspiration Our Founder and Chairman, Late Dr. Dhananjoy Ghanti, was popularly known as the ‘first construction chemicals chemist’ of India. A research scientist with a keen eye for detail, he pioneered the field of concrete technology & construction chemicals, and was associated with the construction chemical segment of various multinational giants for nearly 35 years. Dr. Ghanti is credited with the development of a diverse set of cement grouts, polymer concrete, polymerised & cementitious coatings, cement & resin anchor products, pressure reactive acrylic adhesive and other well recognised, quality industrial brands. Dr. Ghanti’s Lab In 1980, he founded Dr. Ghanti’s Lab as a knowledge centre for the construction chemicals industry. Today, under the skilled and expert direction of a team of research scientists and chemists, the Lab’s product development unit is focused on ensuring and further strengthening the quality of our products. In addition, the research and education unit of the Lab periodically organises educational workshops & seminars, releases white papers and offers fellowships. Carrying the Legacy Forward In 1998, Dr. Ghanti laid the foundation of DuraBuild Care Private Limited. Today, Er. Rudrabir Ghanti, our CEO, an Imperial College London and IIT-Delhi Alumnus, looks up to our founder and carries his revered legacy forward. He is assisted by an expert and skilled team of structural engineers, chemical engineers, concrete technologists, research scientists, management professionals and applicators. Our Manufacturing Facilities We have two manufacturing units in Modern Industrial Estate, Bahadurgarh, Haryana catering respectively to retail and project segments. All of them are supported by full-fledged Quality Control and Testing Laboratories with R&D, under the aegis of Dr. Ghanti’s Lab. Under the expert direction of our senior scientists, the units perform testing for all types of construction chemicals and concrete, including mix designs.
