With the towering dreams of bringing revolution in the Indian Ice-Cream industry, a business venture that took shape in 1954 at 66, Warli Road , Mumbai was entitled “MONITA GROUP OF INDUSTRIES”. And through their innovative spirits, business sense and knack of catering the need of their clients and customers, the Shah Family acquired the fame and name as the leading manufacturer of Ice-Cream Cones, Canapés, Chat Baskets and a range of bakery products. We take the pride in admitting the fact that in 1950s, the concept of serving Ice-Cream in the Wafer Cones was our initiation. Being the only manufacturer of wafer cones in India, we were the sole suppliers of wafer cones to the all the leading Ice-Cream manufacturers in India right from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Gujarat to Asam. Even the paper cups manufactured in our units went to almost all these Ice Cream manufacturers namely--- Havemore, Vaadilal, Baskin & Robins, Quality, Taj Ice Creams, Dinshaw's Ice Creams, etc. The increasing business and in the spree of widening the scopes and horizons of possibilities, in 1970 a manufacturing unit of the company was erected in the GIDC of Modasa city of Gujarat State. The company management hatches fresh dreams and have firmly fixed in their wish list to explore the avenues of their quality products in the foreign markets too.
